  • Project Review. Review of member development project with professional feedback. Member projects that pass the review committee process will be given written feedback and a letter of support. Expertise on the project review committee includes but are not limited to former city planners and development professionals.

OBA currently has two tiers of membership, general members and board members. Please fill out an application to join as a general member; once reviewed we will reach out to you to complete the process. Board members must be nominated; please fill out the same application and make note of who nominated you and we will reach out to you to further discuss.

About: The Oakland Builders Alliance (OBA) is a non-profit organization that seeks to address economic and environmental issues for responsible development in Oakland. OBA was formed in 2007 with a membership cast from the design, engineering, construction, and real estate sectors. The organization’s mission is to promote partnership with the City of Oakland to enhance its safe growth while achieving economic benefits for businesses and the community at large. OBA sees its members teaming with City forces to formulate and enforce fair regulations in a streamlined manner to attract new development, thus grow City revenue and job opportunities.
